The universal remote start interface allows
remote start products to operate on most vehicles equipped with a
transponder type factory immobilizer system, including Acura, Audi,
BMW, Chrysler, BMW, Ford, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Infinity, Jaguar, Jeep,
Kia, Land Rover, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan,
Porsche, Toyota, Volvo, and VW. Requires the use of a spare key from
the vehicle.

GM Passlock Bypass and door lock interface
module
The 457GW is Directed's first combination bypass
and door lock interface, combining the functionality of the bestselling
555L GM passlock and 555G passkey 3 interfaces and 456G, 455G, 456A,
and 456B GM Databus Interfaces.
This interface operates many functions of the
lock / security system in late model GM vehicles, converting the
signals from alarm, keyless entry and remote start systems into signals
that can be understood by the vehicles databus. Simple one-wire connection
to the vehicle's underdash data bus to activate factory door locks.
Also, controls factory Arm / Disarm, factory TX # 1 user settings
provides dome light buffer to prevent trigger during remote start,
and temporarily bypasses the passlock anti-theft system.
