The YJ replaced the CJ in 1987. It was still a leaf-sprung vehicle, but front and rear track bars, along with a front anti-sway bar were added to enhance vehicle stability.

The 1.5" System consists of replacement springs with tapered leafs and polyurethane eye bushings, and a complete U-Bolt kit.

The 3.5" System is more involved. First, the 3.5" leaf springs feature the same "no compromise" design elements of the CJ leafs... tapered leaf plates, anti-friction pads, and light spring rates combine to give you full suspension articulation and unbeatable ride quality. Also, double wrapped spring eyes (military wraps) enhance durability and safety. Shot-peening and the use of flat seats reduce spring stress, which increases spring life. Urethane spring eye bushings are included as well.

The base YJ system also includes a complete U-bolt kit with self-locking hardware, transfer case lowering kit, longer front anti-sway bar links, hardware to relocate the front ad rear track bars, compression travel-stops, and brake hose relocation brackets. The dropped pitman arm is recommended to reduce steering linage angles. It is also recommended to reduce steering linkage angles. We also offer steering stabilizers, 1", 2", and 3" body lifts, add-a-leaf kits, front anti-sway bar quick disconnects, numerous replacement Urethane bushing kits and AT Shock absorbers.
